Downtown Days 2009 Friday, Saturday, Sunday this week

PRINTABLE 3-DAY SCHEDULE

Three days of events will start at 4:00pmCT, Friday afternoon, October 9, 2009, in Downtown Columbia, KY, when vendor booths open on the Square.

Bigger than ever crowds are expected in 2009. Last year, the Fall Event at Homeplace on Green River was on the same day, which prevented many from attending both. This year, the Homeplace Fall Festival was moved up to early September with greatly improved attendance. Downtown Days/ Old West Festival is expected to benefit, likewise.

On Saturday, a 5K Run Registration will kick the biggest day, which will include contests, singing, and the re-enactment of the Bank of Columbia Robbery, vendor booths open, and more. See 2007 Downtown Photo Album

On Sunday, the Second Sunday "Play in the Street" has been rolled into the festival, starting at 3pm and going through 5pm, and a 6am service in front of the Columbia Baptist Church, sponsored by the Adair County Ministerial Association will conclude the event.

The Festival has now has an updated, Downtown days website
