She was member of a respected Northern Adair County Family and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church of Humboldt, TN

Mary Frances Visnick, 70, a native of Adair County, KY, passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2009, in Humboldt, TN.

The funeral service Saturday, October 3, 2009 at 10:00amCT at New Hope Separate Baptist Church, 10706 Liberty RD, Columbia, KY, with Bro. David Coffey & Bro. Hershey Giles the officiating clergy. Interment in New Hope Cemetery, 131 New Hope Cemetery RD, Columbia, KY. Visitation is after 4:30pmCT, Friday, October 2, 2009, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY.



Mary Frances Visnick, Adair Co. native (May 22, 1939 - September 29, 2009)

Mary Frances Visnick was born May 22, 1939 in Pellyton, Adair Co., KY,the daughter of the late George and Ollie Hardwick Sneed and passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at 6:50pmCT, at her home in Humboldt, TN, after an illness, at the age of 70 years, 4 months, and 7 days.

She moved from Kentucky to Indiana in 1952 and graduated from LawrenceCentral High School in 1958. She married Ernest Visnick on December 27, 1968.She went on as a homemaker to raise her three children and in support of herhusband's career in the Corrugated Industry. They moved several times beforehis retirement in 1997, living in Indiana, Illinois, Virginia, North Carolina, and Tennessee. While living in Illinois, she was a volunteer and volunteer coordinator at St. Clara's Manor Nursing Home.

She was a loving wife, a loving mother, and a loving grandmother. She believedStrongly in our Lord Jesus Christ. She is a member of the Calvary Baptist Churchof Humboldt, TN.

She is survived by her husband Ernest Visnick, and the following:
  • Two sons: Gregory D. Ford, Clinton, IL, and Eric Visnick and wife Margie of Humboldt, TN

  • One daughter Lisa Eads and husband James "Woody" of Clinton, IL

  • Her greatest joy, six adorable grandchildren: Gregory Estes andJacob Ford of Indianapolis, IN: Evan Visnick, Natalie Visnick, Cecilia Visnnickand Caitlin McGarity of Humboldt, Tennessee

  • One sister: Edith Roberts of Columbia, KY

  • And one uncle: Edward Hardwick, Columbia, KY
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Marie Crowe and Adel Daniel and one brother Welby Boone.
