Jones Chapel Worship, Wellness Walkers will be at 2nd Sunday By Terry Partin The Worship and Wellness Walkers from Jones Chapel United Methodist Church invite and encourage churches throughout Adair County to support the Second Sunday activities sponsored by the Cooperative Extension Service and other community partners. This family event will take place Sunday October 11, 2009 at 3:00pm on Fairground Street, between Young and Wain Streets. Columbia is one of 103 communities across Kentucky which is closing a street on this Second Sunday to emphasize the importance and need for exercise and physical activity. The event will conclude at 5:00pm with a cookout provided for participants by Action Generation. All Churches are encouraged to make a difference by sending a team out in support of this worthy event.
