Letter: On facing temptation at Slade, KY

About: Epicurean Kentuckian Miguel's Pizza and Rock ClimbingTo Epicurean Kentuckian

I admit I'm tempted; the pizza looks great and certainly is not a run of the mill variety. I'll be at Natural Bridge State Park in mid-October for the 2009 Assembly of the KY Council of Churches. That's just across the road from Miguel's. (I know that because I already mapped it on Google.)

Should I start singing to myself "Yield Not to Temptation" or should I just plan to give in and not fight the urge when I get to Slade?

s/Rob Stout

Maybe "Break Thou the Bread of LIfe," is what you should hum from Winchester on. We'd also recommend several home screenings of "The Big Night" to help improve capacity, in homage to Tom Chaney. We, of course, endorse the Equalization Diet followed by Bruce Wilson. Eat whatever you like, and offset it. Don't know if that means just having Miguel's Pizza with diet Ale-8-One or not. -EW
