LWC Men's soccer's match with Montreat tonight postponed

By Christ Wells, LWC Sports Information Director

COLUMBIA, KY (4:42pmCT, Saturday, September 26, 2009) - The Lindsey Wilson College men's soccer team's match with Montreat (NC) College scheduled for tonight, September 26, 2009, at Walter S. Reuling Stadium has been postponed.

No make-up date has been announced.

The match was postponed following the decision that the Walter S. Reuling Stadium field was unplayable due to the heavy rains over the last several days in the Columbia area.

No. 5-ranked Lindsey Wilson is 4-1 on the season and now must wait 10 days between matches. The Blue Raiders last played on September 19, 2009, in a 2-1 win over then-No. 8-ranked University of Rio Grande (OH).

The Raiders returns to action on September 29, 2009 as they play host to Campbellsville (KY) University. Lindsey Wilson hosts Campbellsville University in the second game of a women's and men's doubleheader at Walter S. Reuling Stadium, 151 Blue Raider DR, Columbia, KY. Kickoff of the women's match begins at 5pmCT with the men's game to follow.
