Lindsey Wilson will have five open houses Fall 2009, Spring 2010 By Duane Bonifer COLUMBIA, KY - Prospective Lindsey Wilson College students and their families will have five opportunities to visit the college at Open Houses during the 2009-10 school year. Lindsey Wilson will host an Open House on: October 3 and November 14, 2009, and January 30, March 27 and April 24, 2010, with each starting at Lindsey Wilson's award-winning Cranmer Dining Center, 430 Helen Flatt DR, Columbia, KY Open House gives prospective students and their families a glimpse of undergraduate life at Lindsey Wilsons A.P. White Campus.The March 27 Open House will be a talent showcase, and April 24 Open House will have a junior-senior focus. Each Open House is held from 9am-noon CT. The day begins in the Roberta D. Cranmer Dining & Conference Center. Open Houses give prospective students an excellent opportunity to learn what a college is all about, said Lindsey Wilson Director of Admissions Charity Ferguson. Because classes are not held on Saturday, Open House is a very relaxed and casual day." An Open House will also help prospective students and their family members discover how they can afford a college education as members of the Lindsey Wilson staff will explain the colleges financial-aid programs. Most people are surprised to learn how affordable a Lindsey Wilson education is, Ferguson said. Students who attend an Open House can also meet with the colleges athletic coaches and advisers to student organizations. Ferguson added that its never too early to begin the college-search process.In addition to high school seniors, high school juniors and sophomores should also consider attending an Open House, Ferguson said. Lindsey Wilson Open House days are open to high school students and their families. A complimentary lunch will be served in the colleges award-winning Cranmer Dining & Conference Center.
