Shelbyville, KY, soccer player at LW is MSC player of week

Carrie Revlett has two shutouts against nationally ranked opponents. She's Mid South Conference Defensive Player of the Week second time in a row

LOUISVILLE, KY - Lindsey Wilson College senior goalkeeper Carrie Revlett shutout a pair of nationally-ranked opponents to earn Mid-South Conference Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week honors, the conference announced on Monday, September 21, 2009.

The Shelbyville, KY., native received her second consecutive weekly award after stopping eight shots in a 0-0 tie with eighth ranked Martin Methodist (TN) College on September 18, 2009.



The senior, who leads Lindsey Wilson (5-2-1) in career shutouts, collected two saves one day later in a 3-0 win against 23rd ranked Graceland (IA) University on September 19.

Revlett has started all eight games for the Blue Raiders without being substituted. The senior has grabbed 31 saves while allowing just seven goals for a 0.84 goals against average.
