LWC Women's Tennis Sweeps Singles' and Doubles' Titles at Bulldog Bash BARBOURVILLE, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson College sophomore Trina Slapeka dominated the women's finals of the Union College Bulldog Bash with a 6-0, 6-0 win against Lincoln Memorial (Tenn.) University junior Ann-Sophie Inderherberge on Sept. 11-13. Slapeka, the top seed, received a first-round bye before topping Shorter (Ga.) College sophomore Quincey Mason in the second round. Slapeka followed that performance with a win in the semifinals leading to her successful finals match with Indeherberge.. Lindsey Wilson seniors Lindsey Scheene and Agnieszka Wojtowicz both lost in the first round. Blue Raider seniors Jessica Weyreuter and Wojtowicz teamed up to win the doubles' bracket with a 6-2, 6-1 pasting of Lincoln Memorial's Indeherberge and freshman Leah Donoff. Slapeka was not as successful in her doubles' effort, pairing with freshman Ashley Phillips for a first-round loss to the Railsplitters' Indeherberge and Donoff.
