The Christmas star: Another courthouse memory To ColumbiaMagazine.com: Many people probably remember that many years ago a large star was placed on top of the courthouse at Christmas. At some point, the wind carried it down, but not completely. It hung there like a misplaced tree ornament for what I remember as a pretty long time.
