ACHS Girls Golf team places 4th at Heartland

ACHS girls golf finished 4th out of 6 teams in the Heartland Conference Tournament at Greensburg, KY. Green Co. followed up their State Class A Championship with 1st place honors, shooting a 347; Taylor Co. was runner-up with 371.

Kate Larimore was the individual champion shooting a 78. Cassidy Scantland was runner-up with an 84. Adair individual scores were Natalie Sneed 95, Ashley Goodin 97, Emilee Royse 112, Dea Brandon 117, Natalie Curry 120.




The course played very tough today. The yardage was close to or over state tournament length couple that with difficult pin placements and fast greens and you can understand why scores ran high today for alot of the girls.The Adair County High School Girls Golf Team meets Warren East at The Pines at Lindsey Wilson, 275 Country Club RD, Columbia, KY, on Thursday, September 17, 2009. Tee time will be around 4:30pmCT.
