Memory: Circling the Square, Circle R, and Jim Dandy About: Deepfried hotdogs were at old Jim Dandy To ColumbiaMagazine.com: I don't remember eating at Jim Dandy but I do remember circling the Jim Dandy. It was part of the loop you made on Saturday nights. You started going around the Courthouse Square then on to the Circle R then around Jim Dandy. You usually stopped at the Circle R to visit with friends who were also making the loop around those places.
