Henhouse science: How many eggs in a setting? To ColumbiaMagazine.com: Been sitting around trying to figure out how many eggs it took to make a setting. I can remember Granny making a pencil mark on the eggs she was sitting then she knew if a fresh egg was in the nest but cant remember how many it took Thanks. s/Larry Joe Murray Sir.
