I want to let all your readers know about the Fall Heritage Festival at the Homeplace On Green River scheduled to start at 9:00amET with activities continuing until 5:00pmET, September 12, 2009. The Homeplace is located on Hall Road on Highway 55 between Columbia and Campbellsville. The entrance will be clearly marked. (6048 New Columbia RD, Campbellsville, KY).

We all want our families to have an appreciation for the past. We want our children and grandchildren to experience a little of how we and their forefathers lived and to taste a little bit of the things that made life special for us and them.

So bring your families, your neighbors, your friends, and yourselves out to the Homeplace for a fun filled day of the past and present. There will be many kinds of crafts, demonstrations, entertainment, and fun filled activities. You'll see apples pressed for juice, a blacksmith make things the way our forefathers had to make them before electricity, how quilts are made by hand, how to make things from clay, and artisans galore.

You and your children can visit and play in our corn maze and kiddie hay maze, pet and learn about farm animals and more. You can enjoy our free country and gospel music shows all day long.

You don't have to pay to enter the Homeplace or to park. There will be plenty to eat and drink. Many of our shows and demonstrations won't cost you a thing so come on out and enjoy a fun filled day of relaxing, learning, and playing outside.
