Thanks, emergency responders, for help find missing child

To ColumbiaMagazine.com:

Just wanted to say "Thank You" to everyone at the Columbia Police Department, Adair County SAR, Emergency Management, Adair County 911, family, friends, and anyone else that assisted with the location of our son who slipped off to a friend's after getting off the school bus on Thursday afternoon. As parents, we immediately suspected that he was at friend or neighbor's home, but we were unable to locate him.

Calling everyone we knew turned up nothing. After a nearly 2 hour search and endless phone calls, knocks on doors, and tears of dismay, he was found safe and sound. The prompt and attentive response from our city and county agencies has reaffirmed my longheld belief in the capabilities of our emergency responders. Thanks again.

s/Eric and Charlotte Hare
