Meeting still on at Mid-town Restaurant, Russell Springs, KY

As of 4:49pmCT today, the Adair County School Board Work Session for planning purposes is to still scheduled to take place at Loy's Mid-town Restaurant, this evening, Monday, August 24, 2009, starting at 6:00pmCT.

Chairman Chris Watts (District 3) said that because representatives from Frankfort are on their way to meet with the Board, the meeting would go ahead as sheduled. First District Member, Vice Chairman Greg Willis, was reported on his way to the meeting. Board member Mike Harris (5) will attend.

Two of the five board members will not be in attendance. Second District Board Member Marsha Walker chose not to attend. Fourth District Board Member Floyd Burton will be working tonight and will not be in attendance.

The meeting will be held in a room which can accommodate 50-60 people, far more than the board's Conference Room at the Adair County School's Central Office, which can only accommodate about 30 people. Meals are available at the popular Russell County Restaurant, on one's own, for those attending. The meeting is open to the public.
