Obituary: Roger Allen Rucker, Jr. 28, Mobile, AL

Mr. Rucker was a member of a respected Adair Co., KY family and leaves several relatives in Adair Co. and elsewhere in Kentucky. At the time of his death, he was a maintenance worker at an apartment complex in Mobile, Alabama.

Roger Allen Rucker, Jr. age 28 years of Mobile, AL a native of Fort Riley, KS, passed away Friday, August 14, 2009 at his residence.
The funeral service will be today, Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at 3:00pmCT at Radney Funeral Home, 3155 Dauphin ST, Mobile, AL. Interment will be in the Tabernacle Cemetery, 91 Tabernacle Cemetery RD, in Adair Co., KY.

Roger Allen Rucker was a maintenance worker at an apartment complex in Mobile, AL. He is survived by his father, Roger Rucker and wife Lisa, of Lexington, KY, and the following:
  • His mother: Shelia Cumbie, Mobile, AL

  • Four children: Brian Lucas Chamness, Lily Rucker, Addison Rucker,and Phoenix Rucker, all of Alabama

  • Three sisters: Miranda Tidikis, Lexington, KY; Rebeckah Cumbie ofAlabama, and Tiffany Grant, Columbia, KY

  • One brother: James Rucker, Lexington, KY

  • Maternal grandmother: Gayle Compton, Glasgow, KY

  • Paternal grandfather: Gerald Rucker and wife Anita, Liberty, KY

  • Maternal grandmother: Dixie Davis and husband Kenny of Glasgow, KY
.He was a maintenance employee at an apartment complex.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Altapointe Health Systems, Inc.501 Bishop Lane North, Mobile, Alabama 36608.
