By Ellen Zornes, for Trabue-Russell House users

On behalf of the Adair Arts Council and all the groups and individuals who use the Trabue Russell House for meetings, lunches, dinners and all other activities, let us say a gigantic, "Thank You," to Jennifer Smith, who agreed to lead the project and the entire Adair CountyGarden Club for reviving the beautiful Trabue House Flower Garden. If you have not been by to see it, it is well worth your time to do so.

The garden is still a work in progress and the club is expanding to other areas of the grounds to beautify them as well. The garden is a beautiful and picturesque place with trees in the background, historic house and the skyline of Columbia to the right.

The L.E.A.D. Adair County orientation will be held there tomorrow (Tuesday) evening. We can't wait for our new L.E.A.D. group to see the garden.

This is just another example of what great things can be accomplished when we all pull together for the betterment of Adair County. -Ellen Zornes
