Deadline for L.E.A.D. Adair class is in less than two hours

Deadline to join one of Adair County's most prestigious traditions, to get priceless leadership training, is approaching fast. To be considered, applicants need be only 18 years old and there is no upper limit. Applications considered until 4:00pmCT TODAY. You may pick up an applicaiton at the Chamber of Commerce, 201 Burkesville ST, Columbia, KY, or contact Ellen Zornes at (270) 250-3400, Lee Ann Jessee at (270) 634-2935 or Kaye Bowman at (270) 384-0750. The deadline to become a part of what looks like one of the most promising and already one of the largest L.E.A.D. Adair classes is just a few hours away. Lee Ann Jessie said this morning that there are now seven firmly committed for the class, with another fairly definite member who is leaning toward committing to the class.

Classes will start in August 2009, with a retreat. Meetings are held once a month every month except October, when we have two, and December, when no class is held. Graduation for this class will be in June of 2010. This is always a big moment for all of us.

If you are interested in seeing Adair County move forward then this is the group for you. You will learn about different leadership styles, teamwork and you will be given opportunities to explore Adair County. Registraion deadline is August 17, 2009.
