The following is a list of the winners at the Duck Race on the East Fork of the Little Barren at the Third Sunday in August Celebration, 2009:
  • 1st and winner of TV, Duck, # 88, Lanetta Shive
  • 2nd, winner of GPS, Duck #772, Macy Welsh
  • 3rd, winner of $100 Shopping Spree at Cee Bee , Duck #985 Addy Moss
  • 4th, winner of $100 Shopping Spree at Save A Lot Duck # 994 Sandra Anderson
  • 5th, winner of Bicycle
  • Duck # 664, Haley Judd
  • 6th Vacation at Home, (Cabin Creek, Light House Restaurant, Barn Lot Theater), Duck # 1081, Brittany Morgan.

The next major event on the Duck Race circuit is the prestigious 3rd Annual Wacky Quacky Duck Race on the rushing waters of Russell Creek, Columbia, KY on Monday, September 7, 2009, at 2:00pm. The top prize is a 32" Sansui HD LCD television. Tickets are on sale at City Hall, Columbia, KY; at Grimsley Jewelry, and at Thomas Photography. This race is sanctioned by the Columbia Parks & Recreaton Board. -CM
