Scuba event will let prospects try on gear, test the waters By Greg Thomas, Adair Co. Emergency Management Director The Adair County Dive Team will be sponsoring a Discover Scuba Diving session as a fund raiser. It will be held at the Columbia City Pool at the City Park, Adair County Fairgrounds, 413 Fairground ST, Columbia, KY on Thursday night, August 13, 2009, from 6:00pm to 8:00pmCT. The class designed for people 13 years old and up. During the session the people that attend, for a fee of $10, will be able to put on scuba gear and see if they might want to move forward and get certified as a scuba diver, for sport or other reasons.
