Johnnietta Janes would like early photos of Breeding Johnnietta Janes responds Richard Robertson's letter: Wants more on Cane Valley/Coburg/Dulworth and Egypt/Jericho/Bull Run Thank you (Richard Robertson) for your comments. I was raised in Breeding and my mom told me about some of the places of business that used to be there. At one time there was a grist mill and a blacksmith shop. I wish I could find some pictures of these. How will our children and grandchildren know about their heritage if we don't preserve it somehow? The same is true of the courthouse, it is part of our heritage as Adair Countians. Johnnietta JohnsonNote: Perhaps it's time to remind everyone interested in history that no Adair County organization does more for Preservation than the Adair County Genealogical Society. The Adair County Genealogical Society holds its meetings the first Monday night of each month at 6:00pmCT, at the Adair County Public Library, 307 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY. Everyone is encouraged to attend.
