The Columbia Rotary Club says goodbye to Wally Bowman

Past President and valued member of the community is returning to Texas.

The Columbia-Adair Rotary Club is sorry to see the departure of one of our stalwart members and a real contributor to the community, Wally Bowman.

Wally is past president of the club and a member of a family that have served the community well over the years.

Since his return to Columbia several years ago, Wally has represented a number of local folks as an attorney with the Appalachian Research and Defense Fund of Kentucky.

He has also served on the Chamber of Commerce Board. Wally's brother, David, and sister, Kaye, have also served many Adair Countians as health providers--David as a pharmacist and Kaye, who is also a Rotarian, as co-owner of Community Medical Services.

Wally will leave town this weekend for Texas to join his wife, Rhonda, who returned to Texas earlier. He will be missed not only by his fellow Rotarians, but by many others here in Adair County. We wish him fair winds and God speed.s/The Columbia-Adair County Rotary Club
