AC Lightning boosters raise $4,042 with sales, roadblock

Parents, team members deliver 450 box lunches today, and the $2,198 earned, along with roadblock money of $1,844, team nets $4,042 to help send the team to South Bend, IN Regionals, where they will compete for a berth in World Series

The AC Lightning Girls State Softball Team sold and delivered 450 lunches today around the county!

With the cost of the lunch deducted, and some generous tips added on, the total for today is $2,198.We thank all who purchased the lunches and gave extra. We also want to thank all the parents who prepared the lunches, made salad, brownies, etc.




Thanks also to everyone who donated $1,844 at the roadblocks this past weekend.

This will be a great help on sending the team to South Bend, IN next weekend to play in the Central Regional Tournament with hopes of going to the World Series the next week to be help in Delaware.

Thanks again to everyone who has helped.We'll keep you posted on how the team does.s/Parents & Supporters of AC Lightning
