Former pastor in Adair hopes to hear more on White Oak School About: Memories of White Oak school above Green River Ed, I'm enjoying reading of the former White Oak community. As a former resident of Adair County, a graduate of Lindsey Wilson, and pastor of Bloomington Chapel Brethren in Christ Church, it's very interesting to read of this community that is slowing fading into memory. I'd be interested to hear the stories of other communities in the area which were displaced by the lake. Keep up the good work. It's wonderful to keep up with what's going in Adair County by your website. s/Rev. Tim Lewis Sparta, Tennessee Thanks. Good to hear from you. We're hope some more stories and photos from the era will be shared by readers. -EW This story was posted on 2009-07-21 12:53:38
