Orphan puppies, drop-offs along roadside, needing homes Just need a fresh start. Abandoned puppies were drop offs along Grassy Springs RD, District 1, Adair County, KY. They were taken to the Green River Animal Shelter Click on headline for story plus photo By Jason Harmon I was in Adair County, KY this past weekend taking photos of graves. Wefound a llittle puppy hiding in a box on Grassy SpringsRD. After further inspection, her little brother was found also close by.We asked some residents in the area about the puppies, and were toldthat they were drop offs and that this happens quite often in their neckof the woods. We took the little orphans to the Adair County Animal Shelter so they could be fed and cleaned up. I hope someone out there can open up their home and give them a fresh start before it's too late for them. This story was posted on 2009-07-20 14:32:44
