Preservation: Remembers White Oak one room school About: Preservation, Paul Corbin, and old, old Knifley schoo,l White Oak To ColumbiaMagazine.com Yes, I do remember the White Oak one room school. My Aunt Irene Hutcherson taught there when I was about four years old. She would take me with her occasionally. My father, Presley Chelf, taught at Robinsion Ridge one room school and the old Knifley school with Mr. Corbin and the new school, also and was the coach. Lots of good times back then. s/Maurita Chelf Herron Note: We hope someone will share a White Oak School photo -EW This story was posted on 2009-07-20 00:28:26
