Four Marion, Boyle volunteer firefighters charged with arson Case continues with KSP Post 15, Columbia, KY, arson investigators Alex Wesley and Post 7 arson investigator Pat Alford investigating and believe more arrests will follow By Tpr. Gregory, Public Affairs OfficerKentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY Lebanon, KY- Four arrests have been made by the Kentucky State Police as a result of ongoing investigations into multiple fires in Boyle and Marion Counties, KY. Nineteen (19) year-old Stephen E. Orberson of Gravel Switch, KY; 22 year-old Melinda A Orberson of Perryville, KY: 24 year-old James R Tate of Perryville, and 21 year-old Fredrick E Tate of Harrodsburg, KY, have all been charged with Arson 2nd degree, Burglary 2nd degree, Wanton Endangerment 1st degree and Criminal Mischief 1st degree and were lodged in the Marion County Detention Center in Lebanon, KY. All of the accused were volunteer firefighters with Boyle County and Gravel Switch (Marion County) Fire Departments. Post 15 Arson Investigator Alex Wesley and Post 7 Arson Investigator Pat Alford are investigating and believe that more arrests will follow.
