Obituary: Kathy Bailey, 54, Columbia, KY

Mrs. Bailey was a member of a respected Adair Co., KY family, a member of the Russell Heights Baptist Church, and had worked at Oshkosh B'Gosh in Columbia, KY

Kathy Bailey, age 54 years, of 289 Holladay Cemetery Road, Columbia, Ky. passed away, Thursday July 16, 2009 at 11:00pm, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY.

The funeral service Sunday, July 19, 2009 at 2:00pmCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY with Rev. John Blakey the officiating clergy. Interment in Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Liberty RD, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be after 4:00pmCT, Saturday, July 18, 2009.



She was born September 4, 1954, the daughter of Junior and Korena Bowman Maxey of Manchester, Clay Co., KY.

Besides her parents. she is survived by her husband, Bradford Bailey of Columbia, KY, and the following:
  • One son and spouse: Larry Bailey and wife Jessica of Columbia, KY

  • One brother: Jeff Maxey of Manchester, KY

  • Four grandchildren: Bradley Bailey, Spensor Bailey, Brittany Bailey & Samantha Bailey

  • One great grand child: Conner Wayne Crisman

  • Special friends: Larry & Cathy Brockman of Columbia, KY

  • And several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends
She was a member of Russell Heights Baptist Church & had worked at Oshkosh B' Gosh Factory in Columbia, KY.

Pallbearers: Larry Brockman, Jonathan Brockman, Steve Burton, Harold Shirley, Doug Wise and Kenny Bryant.

Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in charge of funeral arrangements.
