Columbia Police investigate July 8, 2009 crash at The Crossing Click on headline for full story plus photo By Tracy McCarol, Columbia Police Dept. On July 8, 2009 the Columbia Police Dept. investigated a two vehicle accident at the junction of KY 55 Bypass and KY 439 intersection. A vehicle 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse being operated by 17 year old Brooke Estes of Greensburg, KY, failed to stop at the stop sign and struck a 2006 Volvo passenger car being operated by Tracey Antle 46, Jamestown, KY. Antle was traveling North bound on the bypass. Adair County. EMS responded to accident, but both drivers refused treatment and transport to hospital. Seat belts were in use. The accident investigated by Officer Tracy McCarol with assistance from Chief Mark D. Harris and Officer Jimmy Luttrell. This story was posted on 2009-07-08 09:18:38
