Overcorrection factor in KY 70 injury crash Driver taken to Casey Co. Hospital, then airlifted to UK By Tpr. Billy Gregory, Public Affairs Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY CASEY CO., KY - Trooper Adam Likins is investigating a collision that occurred at 1:45pmCT today on KY Hwy 70, approximately 12 miles west of Liberty. 40 year old Rebecca Watson, of Hustonville, was operating a 2001 Oldsmobile westbound on KY Hwy 70, when she lost control of the vehicle and left the roadway. Watson overcorrected, lost control of the vehicle, and struck a tree. Watson was transported by Casey County EMS to the Casey County Hospital, where she was airlifted to the University of Kentucky Medical Center. A passenger in Watsons vehicle, 7 year old Erica Watson, of Hustonville was not injured. Both occupants were wearing a seatbelt.
