Adair County Marching Band now (just) $28,600 from goal! The Adair County Band Boosters are operating food concessions at the Adair County Fair, now in progress, with all profits going to the band and the 2009 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade Fund Drive Thanks to a generous donation from an ACH Booster Alumna couple of $800 the Adair County Marching Band Donations Thermometer was at $111,400 on July 3, 2009. The band has what may be it's biggest fundraiser opportunity ever with the concessions at the Adair County Fair, June 3-4 and 6-11. With 145 days left before departure for New York for the 2009 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, the band now needs an average of $197.25 per day to reach its goal. A donation of that amount, or any amount can be made at Adair Band.com using Paypal. As well, details of the latest donations and band activities can be seen at the award-winning site.
