MS Walk is September 12, 2009, at Christian Life Center Over 20 people in Columbia, KY are registered with the disease By Lynda McKinley The 2009 Adair County Multiple Sclerosis Walk is September 12, 2009 at the Columbia Christian Life Center, 901 Hudson St Columbia, KY 42728. Everyone is invited join us on Saturday, September 12, 2009 at the MS Walk and become part of helping in finding a cure, by showing your support by forming teams, fundraising, walking and enjoying a day of fellowship. Here in Columbia, KY, over 20 people have registered with the National MS Society who live with MS every day and there are more who are newly diagnosed have not just yet registered. I know what it means to live with the unpredictability of this disease and I urge the community members to get involved in the fight against MS. Please just form your teams and raise money, every little bit will make a difference. Visit www.nmss.org website or call 1800-344-4867 to get involved. For some this means living with unpredictable symptoms like numbness, blurred vision and fatigue, which can come and go without warning. For others, it means more permanent damage like paralysis. For friends and family members, it means not knowing what the day will bring for their loved one and always being prepared for the unexpected. If you have any questions or want to volunteer please call Lynda McKinley, MS Walk Chair person at (270) 378-1399. You can pre-register online at www.nmss.org or you can call 1-800-344-4867.
