Obituary: Lester Reed Moss, 85, Edmonton, KY

Mr. Moss was a member of a respected family and of Prices Creek Baptist Church. He was retired from SKF industries.

Lester Reed Moss, 85, Edmonton, died Saturday, June 20, 2009, at Metcalfe Health Care in Edmonton, KY.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00amCT, Monday, June 22, 2009, at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East ST, Edmonton, KY. Burial will be in the Shirley-Dickson Cemetery, 1729 Prices Creek Road in Western Adair County. Visitation will be from 1:00pmCT until 8:00pmCT Sunday, June 21, 2009 at the funeral home.



He was the son of the late Nemmie and Myrtie Dickson Moss.

Lester was retired from SKF Industries in Glasgow, KY, and was a member of the Prices Creed Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by the following:
  • One son: Eugene Moss and his wife, Edmonton, KY

  • Two grandsons: Doug (Chelsea) Moss and Kelly (Melissa) Moss, all of Edmonton, KY

  • One sister: Grace Veluzat, Columbus, IN

  • And four great grandchildren
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Vennie Roach Moss.
