His Onetime Principal: Pedro taught us more than we did him

"Anyone who meets Pedro will a better person for having him as a friend" -PATTY JONES
About: Impossible Dream Come True for Pedro

By Patty Jones

I am so thrilled for Pedro and his family for this wonderful "dream" they are receiving. I still remember the day that Pedro entered kindergarten at Col. Wm. Casey and what a blessing I received hearing Pedro's father explain (via Jackie Montgomery's translation) how special their son was to them and how they were entrusting him to us. We certainly did not take that trust lightly.

Needless to say Pedro taught all of us who grew to know and love him as much, if not more, than we did him.

While we were all extremely sad to have him leave us and move on to ACES as he grew, we are thrilled to have been kept up to date on Pedro's progress through his new school family.

Anyone who meets Pedro will a better person for having him as a friend. I know I am. I cannot wait to see him moving about in his new chair.

Hats off to everyone who worked so hard to make this a reality for Pedro and his family.
