BJ Fudge in his own defense: With a poem About: On Comment about Grandchildren made by BJ Fudge To ColumbiaMagazine.com: The definition of smart I was hoping to communicate was: Amusingly clever, witty. I am a grandchild, a child, a parent, and a grandparent and would not want to be an offense to any of the aforementioned groups or to anyone, individually. In this age which demands political correctness, I suppose I should have said, "Grandchildren are special because they are born with the knowledge and understanding that their Grandparents and Parents are equally amusingly clever and witty." Since I am failing miserably at humor, let us try this poetic quip on for size. Keep your heart pures/Billy Joe Fudge This story was posted on 2009-06-18 01:24:48
