Remembering Frances Stults: What a legacy she leaves About: Obituary: Frances Stults, 89, Columbia, KY To ColumbiaMagazine.com: I am saddened to read of the passing of a great educator, Mrs. Frances Stults. I was fortunate to be assigned to her class in the fifth and seventh grades at the Columbia Grade Center. She was kind, but firm, as she taught her students and prepared them for their future lives. What a legacy she leaves in the hearts and minds of her former students. As a teacher myself, I know that she modeled for me the most desirable traits for a teacher to emulate. I hope that I too am preparing my students well. My sympathy goes to her family and friends. s/Margaret Bault Varble This story was posted on 2009-06-16 04:40:25
