Jones Chapel United Methodist sends thanks for great fish fry

Twenty minutes after doors open, 370 pieces of crappie served; proceeds go to finance church's fall revival

Ed,

We at Jones Chapel Church want to say thank you for the opportunity to advertise Saturday's Fish Fry on Columbia Magazine. The response was amazing.

We also want to thank this wonderful community for the outstanding support shown for this annual event.

Within 20 minutes of the announced 5:00pmCT starting time we had served 370 pieces of fish, a country ham and an ocean of potatoes, beans, coleslaw and more.

The donations from this event will go a long way toward financing this fall's revival with Aaron and Amanda Crabb.

We truly regret that your arrival was at 5:21, but those who arrived earlier are still talking about the Green River Lake Crappie!

Thank You!

s/David Jones
