CPR and First Aid refresher course to be offered at ACHS

Since there is a heightened awareness of student safety while practicing and participating in athletics and band due to heat concerns, there will be a three hour CPR/First Aid refresher course offered Thursday, June 18, 2009, at 2:30pmCT in the ACHS library, 526 Indian Drive, Columbia, KY. You may update one or both during this session.

Coaches (middle and high school-all sports), administrators, teachers and classified personnel who are required to have CPR and/or First Aid Training, are invited to attend. There will be no cost to participants or schools. CPR must be updated every year and First Aid every three years. (A database is maintained in the Instructional Supervisor's office. If you receive your training outside the district, please submit verification to this office). To register, contact Phyllis Curry or Juanita Foley via e-mail or by calling (270) 384-2476. Jason Rector, instructor. -PHYLLIS CURRY
