Obituary: David Lester Pike, 78, Columbia, KY Mr. Pike was a member of a prominent old line North Adair County family, a farmer, and a member of the Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church David Lester Pike, 78, Columbia, KY, died Sunday, June 7, 2009, at 9:44amCT, at Taylor County Hospital Emergency Room, Campbellsville, KY. The funeral service for David Lester Pike will be Wednesday, June 10, 2009, at 10:00amCT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY, with Rev. Marvin Janes and Rev. Travis Keltner officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, 102 Mt. Carmel RD, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be after 2:00pmCT, Tuesday, June 9, 2009, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home. He was the son of the late Elijah Lester and Mary Catherine Dudgeon Pike and a lifelong farmer. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Leva Parrish Pike and a sister, Allene Curry.Survivors include the following:
