Miracle of the roses: God had a hand in it About: The Miracle of the Roses To ColumbiaMagazine.com: Mike's birthdate is May 5, just a few days before Mother's Day. I am the brother who told Margaret her rose would bloom on Mother's Day when she first tranplanted it to her home. There are so many more incidents with her roses that it is hard to understand - except that God had a hand in it. The picture is only one of several rose bushes that have a story.
