Floyd and Sharon Burton urge support for Crusade for Children

Parents of special needs child who has benefitted from the Crusade for 15 years reminds Adair County that this is one effort which returns, dollar for dollar, penny for penny, every cent donated from Adair County back to Adair County

By Sharon and Floyd Burton

We would like to ask every person in Adair County to donate this weekend to a very special organization. It happens to be the Crusade for Children.

We are the parents of a 30 year old special needs daughter. She greatly benefited from the Crusade for 15 years. It is very hard yet a blessing to have a special needs son or daughter. All money collected will stay right here in Adair County.

I would like to thank everyone that stands out to collect the donations. I would also like to say thank you so much for all the people that open their hearts and wallets to give whatever the amount may be.

Every penny counts and helps. If you have a special needs son or daughter you know the heartache, struggles and work involved caring for that person. It means a whole lot to know there are people that are willing to stand out in the street and hot sun to collect money for the special people. We will forever be grateful for everyone that helps in any way. Thank You
