Thinks Jamestown, KY, Lakefest for 2009 too good to cancel Lakefest out at Jamestown KY To ColumbiaMagazine.com: This event is something that people looked forward to every year. It surely can't be a money issue, because just the beauty pagent alone probably brings in a killing. This is something that people enjoy because you don't have to pay to get into it. People can go and enjoy themselves even if they don't have money to spend. I would like to know the reason behind this because I am very disappointed in this decision. I feel that this should have been a decision made by the town not just a handful of people. We pay taxes too so we should have a say in what goes and what doesn't.s/Nicole Bennett This story was posted on 2009-06-04 08:02:43
