A Young Soldier A Poem by Krystal Revere Pride, strong The Giant's Gianormous Sneeze A short story by Abby Brandon Far up in the sky, deep into the light, baby blue clouds lived Greg the giant. Greg the giant was a dark, plum purple giant who weighed seven tons and ate five large meals a day. He was not the largest giant where he lived, which was in Sky High County. Actually there were giants double the size of him that lived there! As much as Greg loved food, he could not cook. He didn't even know how to make orange ogre soup which was about as simple as making cereal. He did not own one gourd, shell or even a sharp rock to slice his food. He couldn't remember recipes that contained more than one element. Greg knew he was not capable to cook for himself, and he was not ready to learn. He definitely did not own any pepper! Giants react when given pepper by sneezing gianormous sneezes, which are bigger than the tree of knowledge. The only element giants reacted to was pepper. That was good because eating was like a hobby to Greg. This story was posted on 2009-05-18 13:36:49
