Obituary: Roman Elmore, 90, Summersville, KY Mr. Elmore was a member of the Brush Creek Baptist Church and a lifetime farmer. Mr. Roman Elmore of Summersville, Kentucky, son of the late Elliott Elmore and Mary Nisha Marcum Elmore, was born on October 7, 1918 in Green County and departed this life on Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at the Golden Living Center-Green Hill. He was 90 years, seven months and six days of age. The funeral services for Mr. Roman Elmore was conducted at 2:00pmCT, Sunday, May 17, 2009 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 South Main ST, Greensburg, KY, with burial in the Bloyd-Perkins Cemetery. Bro. Otis Skaggs officiated. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Brush Creek Baptist Church and was a lifelong farmer. He united in marriage to Susie Rattliff on November 29, 1941who survives. Other survivors include the following:
