Barbara Armitage testimony in her own words

Bless his little heart, I do believe that Pee Wee Sinclair might have bought that tomato at the IGA an he just don't remember it.

I do know for a fact (because Pee Wee Sinclair himself bragged to me about it) that he is using some new-fangled petroleum based polyethylene thermo-hydration system to force grow his tomato like products. Now I ask you dear readers is that right or fair?

On the other hand my free range tomato plant which produced a first fully ripe tomato on Derby Day 2009 has been only nurtured by the warmth of the sun and the nutrients that Mother Nature provides. Currently the aforementioned tomato plant has nested in the vegetable garden and has settled down to produce a sizeable crop of nutritious, organic, perfectly formed, red ripe tomatoes.

As reputable gardeners know, where you have one tomato you have many tomatoes, so I challenge Mr. Sinclair to at least submit a photograph of the alleged plant that supposedly produced the first tomato of the 2009 growing season.

Tomato War: Serious situation for friends on both sides

2009-05-05 - At the front, Adair Co., KY - Photo From CM File and Barbara Armitage.
CHARGES and COUNTER CHARGES in the Tomato War now have these two old allies hurling charges and countercharges, with friend pitted against friend, friends of both torn by the contoversy and many hoping for someone of the wisdom of the late Dr. Neat, varmintologist to settle the matter, others pray that Judge Jimmy or Judge Mike will issue a judicial decision? Who had the first ripe tomato in the county in 2009? Barbara Armitage, who sent "photographic proof," above, of her crop, or A.L. Sinclair, left, whose "eye-witness" is no less than Willie Matt Feese, Jr. Barbara's claim is that her red ripe tomato, in an earlier photograph, was picked Derby Day, 2009. While A.L. says he ate ripe tomatoes picked from his garden with his wife on May 1, 2009. Barbara thinks that the claim of having eaten the tomato is all to convenient, and demands photographic proof from Pewee.
