Obituary: Vaughn Henry (Buster) Owens, 51, Campbellsville, KY

Mr. Owens attended East Campbellsville Church of God. He was a former employee of Cox Interior. He was a US Marine Corps veteran and will be accorded full military honors by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard

Vaughn Henry (Buster) Owens of Campbellsville son of the late Vonda Owens and Jean Byrd Owens was born November 6, 1957 in Oneida, TN. He died at 12:00amET, Thursday, April 30, 2009 in Campbellsville, KY.

The funeral service will be at 11:00amET/10amCT, Monday, May 4, 2009 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY 42718 by Bro. Robbie Spencer and Bro. Ben Spencer. Burial willl be in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens with full military honors by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.



He professed faith in Christ and attended the East Campbellsville Church of God. He served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps. He was a former employee of Cox Interior.

He united in marriage to Linda Stayton, April 25, 1980.

Besides his wife, Linda Owens, Campbellsville, he is survived by the following:
  • One daughter and son-in-law: Stephanie and Robbie Cundiff, Campbellsville, KY

  • Four grandchildren: Lane Whitley, Raegan Cundiff, Jacob Cundiff and Austin Cundiff of Campbellsville, KY
  • Two sisters and one brother: Brenda Childers and Dianne Harris and husband John, Campbellsville, KY; and Butch Owens and wife Donna of LaGrange, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends
PALLBEARERS: Darrell Dudgeon, Terry Fair, Gary Gilpin, Doug Godsey Barry Hedgespeth, and Glevins Sprowles.HONORARY PALLBEARERS: Darren Childers, Darren and Sara Gupton, Alex, Jake, and Hannah; Chris snd Danielle Dugger, Noah; Aaron Estes, Glevins Sprowles, Ashley Estes, and Justin Jackson.
