Barn struck in accident on Greensburg RD, Columbia, KY

Driver loses control of van, drops off shoulder, goes over embankment, through a fence, and strikes a barn

Adair County Sheriff's Department investigated a non injury accident on at approximately 12:30pmCT, Saturday, April 25, 2009, which resulted in an Adair County man being arrested.



The accident occurred, Jordan Durham, age 21, Columbia, KY, operating a 1999 Dodge Caravan. was traveling southbound on Greensburg Road.

Durham lost control of the vehicle in a curve, dropped off the shoulder of the roadway,traveled over an embankment, through a fence and struck a barn.

Durham was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs 1st offense and expired operators license. Durham was lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail.

The accident investigated and arrest made by Chief Deputy Bruce McCloud with the Adair County Sheriff's Department.
