CPD make crack cocaine arrest after traffic stop

Louisville man lodged in Adair County Regional Jail following early Sunday morning traffic stop, arrest for trafficking in controlled substance

The Columbia Police arrested a Louisville, KY, man after a traffic stop on Burkesville ST, Columbia, KY, at approximately 2:27amCT, Sunday, April 26, 2009.

Columbia Police say Martie Henderson, age 20, Louisville, KY, was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance 1st degree/crack cocaine.Henderson was lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail by Columbia Police Department Officer Kevin Atwood, who was assisted by CPD Officer Jason Cross and Adair County Sheriff Deputy Justin Claywell.

A 2003 Ford Explorer and several rocks of crack cocaine were confiscated, according to Sgt. Jason Cross of the Columbia Police Department.
