The funeral services for Megan Hayes Handy, 40, will be conducted at 1:00pmCT, Friday, April 24, 2009, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 South Main ST, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Greensburg Cemetery. Bro. Dewayne Southwood will be officiating.



Megan Hayes Handy of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of Charles William "Bill" Handy of Greensburg and Carolyn Parrish Lowery of Louisville, was born on May 15, 1968 in Louisville, Kentucky and departed this life on Friday, April 17, 2009 in Vermont. She was 40 years, 11 months and two days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the United Methodist Church in New Albany. She was also a 1986 graduate of Green County High School.

Other survivors include her step-mother: Mae Handy of Greensburg; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
