Cub Scouts Pack 888 pick up litter on Richards Hollow Road By George Kolbenschlag The intrepid scouts from Cub Scout Pack 888 and some of the moms, dads and siblings on their PRIDE road pick-up Saturday morning, April 18, 2009. They picked up along Richard Hollow Road in Gradyville. They found a lot of trash. It was an ideal road for smaller kids because it's light in traffic and several of the nice folks who live out that way who did drive past stopped to tell the boys what a great job they were doing. The Cub Master is Shane Patterson and his Assistant Cub Masters are Winslow Truax, Dave Bava and Phillip Richard. This is a going group of kids, leaders and parents. Anyone interested in having their youngster(s) involved in Cub Scouts can call Shane Patterson at (270) 572-3003. That's his cell phone. They meet at Columbia United Methodist, 202 Burkesville ST, at 6:00pmCT every Monday. Parents are welcome to stop in any Monday and check it out. This story was posted on 2009-04-20 04:34:11
